Raising awareness among adults, children and adolescents plays an important part. Zürcher Kantonalbank enables experience-oriented and informative environmental education measures as part of the revitalization of the Jonenbach stream in Rifferswil.

Construction work to revitalize the Jonenbach stream in Rifferswil began in July 2023. Around 960 meters of the stream will be revitalized just outside the settlement area. This ecological enhancement will create new habitats for animals and plants, as well as an attractive local recreation area with environmental education measures for the local population.
